Our team of highly trained professionals is comprised of passionate individuals who have dedicated their lives to caring for others, and we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and administering medications. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to address concerns and provide updates on patient status.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.Mentor and guide nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care protocols and facility procedures.Ensure all nursing practices comply with state and federal regulations, including infection control, safety protocols, and resident rights.Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to stabilize and manage acute situations.Participate in weekend, night, and holiday calls on a rotating basis.Qualifications:Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska.Experience: 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.Skills:Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.About the Role:We are seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.
