Job Overview Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate to join the strategic equities transactions group in New York, NY. The role is ideal for a 3rd through 6th year associate with a background in capital markets, ISDA-based derivatives documentation, secured transactions, or bankruptcy/restructuring. This position offers the opportunity to engage in complex and high‑stakes equity derivatives and related transactions. Responsibilities Assist in financing, hedging, and monetization transactions. Participate in capital raising and structured repurchase transactions. Engage in structured acquisition transactions. Collaborate with global partners to provide cross-border legal services. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in capital markets or related transactional practices preferred. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and analysis. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
