Job Description

Set-up and operate metal stamping punch press, no experience necessary, training provided.

Set-up includes:

1. 1. Securing one of numerous punching dies in the punch press.
   2. Set individual type pieces to form words. Type pieces are a reverse image and set backwards to the regular written word.
   3. Place automatic numbering head at proper location in press.
   4. Make necessary distance corrections to produce a visual and accurate product.
   5. Load correct coil of material (Aluminum, Colored Aluminum, Brass or Stainless Steel)

Operation includes:

1. 1. Running the press to meet the ordered quantity of parts.
   2. Stringing the finished parts on a wire.
   3. Delivering the finished parts to packaging/shipping department.

Other duties include housekeeping and miscellaneous utilitarian tasks.

Work schedule M-F 7am - 3:30pm

Working conditions: manufacturing shop environment with noise 100% of the time.

Must have full range of movement, use of all senses, and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of spatial relationships is very helpful.
