This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity requiring regular travel between facilities in the Springfield, Charleston, and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone dependable, experienced, and comfortable troubleshooting and completing projects independently. What You’ll Do General building maintenance and repairs Drywall repair, patching, and painting Basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs Carpentry and general remodeling projects Repair doors, fixtures, hardware, and equipment Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs Complete preventative maintenance and facility projects Communicate project status and completed work with facility leadership What We’re Looking For 2+ years of maintenance, construction, remodeling, or related experience preferred General knowledge of plumbing, drywall, electrical, carpentry, and building repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly throughout Central Illinois Dependable, organized, and professional Opportunity Details 1099 independent contractor Work available across multiple Crest Healthcare Group facilities Regular travel required Projects and hours may vary based on facility needs Competitive contract rate based on experience and scope of work Crest Healthcare Group is committed to equal opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis of any status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
