Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) + Surrounding Naval Branch Health Clinics Positions Available: 2 Target Start: July 2026 Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen or Green Card holder based on contract language. GDIT’s Military Health Team is seeking highly skilled Orthopedic Registered Nurses to deliver high‑quality musculoskeletal and post‑operative care within the Military Treatment Facility setting. This is an opportunity to support active‑duty service members, veterans, and their families at one of the nation’s most respected military medical centers. Work Schedule: Services provided Monday–Friday , between 0600–1800 Shifts range from 8.5, 9.5, or 10.5 hours , each including a 60‑minute uncompensated lunch break Never more than 80 hours per two‑week period Duty Hours: Duty Hours: None On‑Call: None Call‑Back: None Overage: None Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing Graduate of an ACEN ‑ or CCNE ‑accredited nursing program 1 year of RN experience within the last 2 years Active, unrestricted RN license Knowledge of orthopedic nursing practices strongly preferred Core Responsibilities Orthopedic RNs support musculoskeletal patients throughout the continuum of care and contribute to a high‑performing clinical environment.
