ICC sets appointments for patients based off calls they received from the patient s primary team or oncologist. These patients may be coming from another area of the hospital, such as radiation or infusion, or may be coming directly from home. This is a smaller unit, leading to strong relationships between staff members and a supportive environment for staff.
