Job Description

General Accountabilities

Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain security and safety.
Monitor entrances, exits, and security systems to prevent unauthorized access.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
Enforce property rules, regulations, and client policies.
Provide armed protection and maintain firearm readiness in accordance with state laws and company procedures.
Complete detailed incident, activity, and shift reports.
Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing NPS Protective Service, LLC.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Armed Security Guard License issued by the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance.
High school diploma or GED required; additional training or military/law enforcement background preferred.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting as required by Tennessee law.
Strong communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods and work in various environmental conditions.
Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, deter criminal activity, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients.
