MRI Technologist

Location: Berlin, VT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts are rotating between days and evenings, typically 8 or 10 hours long. Flexibility is required, including on-call responsibilities.

Job Description: The MRI Technologist will operate MRI equipment to perform scans as per physician requests, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. The role will require collaboration with other healthcare professionals within the radiology department and adherence to strict protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate MRI equipment for various imaging techniques.
• Administer contrast injections as necessary during imaging procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and provide support throughout scans.
• Document imaging results and assist in evaluating the quality of images obtained.
• Participate in rotation and on-call schedules as required, including weekends and holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification in MRI.
• A minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Experience within a teaching facility is preferred.
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.
