Chief Financial Officer

Hilltop Bank, the largest Wyoming-chartered bank and a family-owned community institution, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. Job Summary

The CFO serves as the Bank’s lead financial executive, working closely with the President/CEO, Board of Directors, and senior management. This role oversees all financial, accounting, and operational functions, providing strategic leadership that supports long-term organizational strength and performance.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Guide financial strategy, planning, and performance
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with federal and state banking laws and regulations
• Lead operational and financial risk management
• Supervise and develop accounting and finance staff
• Partner with executive leadership to support organizational goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of senior-level experience within a financial institution
• Strong background in accounting, finance, and bank operations
• Proven management and supervisory experience
• Advanced knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and accounting procedures
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
