Sanitation Worker

Our client in Almena is seeking a Sanitation Worker to join their team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sanitation Worker
Location: Almena, WI
Pay Range: $17.50
Shift: 2nd, 3p-11p Mon-Fri
What's the Job?
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and facility surfaces
- Follow established sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
- Properly use and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, and workstations
What's Needed?
- Previous sanitation or food industry experience required
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, potentially wet or cold environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
