Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years in OB/GYN License: Active Michigan License required Certifications: - AWHONN - NRP - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - High proficiency in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) - Experience in Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care Description: The family birth place serves over 500 families each year. It offers new mothers the comforts of home for their labor, delivery, and recovery experience. Caring and compassion are the hallmarks of the obstetric team. We encourage mothers along each step of their maternity and delivery care. Dads or support persons are invited to share in the experiences. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off after upload or during the interview will not be approved. No more than five days of time off will be accepted; less is better. Candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Dress code consists of facility-provided scrubs. A dysrhythmia test must be passed prior to working on the floor. The traveler must have their own vehicle for this need. Scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; those made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
