Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary Biology . This role suits a researcher with a background in foundational aspects of lung biology or a closely related field applicable to the lung. Applicants should be eager to incorporate AI and genomic techniques into their future research. The candidate is also expected to have an active research program with a strong funding and training record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a robust research program in foundational lung biology areas.
• Embrace and apply AI and genomic methodologies to enhance and diversify research.
• Strengthen the division's comprehensive understanding of lung cell lineages, including epithelial, endothelial, mesenchymal, and immune cells.
• Provide mentorship to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students, enriching the academic and research environment.
• Effectively manage research funding and contribute to the division’s resource development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD and/or MD with significant experience in lung biology or a closely related field applicable to lung biology.
• Established track record of research funding and significant publications.
• Demonstrated mentorship and research training experience.
• Interest in integrating AI and genomics into lung biology research
