About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Product Development to lead and oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product development strategy that is in line with the company's business objectives. This role involves building and managing a high-performing product development team, ensuring organizational health, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The VP will also be tasked with managing multiple product development projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch and adoption. Applicants for the Vice President of Product Development position at the company should have an advanced degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in product development, particularly in the medical device industry. A strong background in aortic medical device development is essential. The role requires a proven track record in leading successful product development teams, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards, and excellent project management skills. The ideal candidate will be a highly influential strategic thinker with strong business acumen, capable of partnering with other business and functional leaders to drive portfolio optimization.
