Your IMPACT Supervise the daily vessel activities and ensure appropriate training for all wheelhouse Team Members. Facilitate the implementation of programs, best practices, policies for all boats to achieve an injury free work place. Ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations. Responsible for Team Member issues regarding hiring/discharging, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Provide positive leadership consistent with ACBL's operating priorities. Audit to ensure regulatory compliance, provide feedback, and examine industry best practices on compliance issues. Audit vessels to ensure ACBL standards are in place to achieve continuous improvement metrics and goals. Assist with establishing departmental goals. Performs all other duties as assigned. What we are looking for... You will need to have: 5-8 Years of vessel leadership within the barge transportation industry. A license to operate towing vessels. A valid TWIC or ability to obtain the credential. A valid driver's license. High school diploma/GED. Competence managing from a remote location. Strong knowledge of barging operations and river systems Even better if you have: Bachelor's degree Working knowledge of government regulations. Proficiency in using MS Office software.
