Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)

Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00/hr (Based on experience)

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Machine Operation: Set up and safely operate a variety of machine tools, including a 200-ton press, 40-ton press, threading units, Bridgeport stations, Piranha Ironworkers, and various miter/band saws.
• Precision Fabrication: Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and raw materials to produce high-quality precision parts to exact specifications.
• Quality & Verification: Verify the dimensions and alignment of finished workpieces and assemblies against blueprints and specification sheets to ensure zero failures.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic preventative maintenance on your equipment and monitor machine operations to catch and adjust for any malfunctions.
• Assembly: Fit and assemble component parts into finished, completed assemblies.

What It Takes to Succeed

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of related fabrication/machining experience, technical school training, or an equivalent combination of hands-on mechanical work.
• Skills: Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to apply practical mechanical and mathematical concepts (fractions, geometry, and layout procedures).
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move 60+ pounds regularly, stand for long periods, and comfortably stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety, exceptional reliability (no excessive absenteeism), and a desire to learn new technologies and techniques.
