With 850+ global consultants, VARITE is committed to delivering excellence to its customers by leveraging its global experience and expertise in providing comprehensive scientific, engineering, technical, and non-technical staff augmentation and talent acquisition services.Job Title: Associate Project ManagerLocation: Eugene, OR 97402 (Onsite)Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extensionPay Range: $26.00/hr. to $32.00/hr. on W2Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card onlyHERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DOJob Responsibilities:Customers will be ordering in units (milligrams, vials, kilograms, etc.) - Will need to match up packaging configurations and fill volumes.Support the PMO/Customs (Project Management Organization and Customs) team by drafting custom project quotes, updating the project tracking system, coordinating invoicing, providing customer and commercial project updates.Have a working knowledge of standard biological technologies and units of measure, buffer formulation, cell biology, chemistry.Good with Excel, data management, manipulation, and reporting.Comfortable working in various database systems.Ability to focus, not easily distracted.Comfortable with change and shifting priorities.Minimum Qualifications:Willing to take someone just out of college with the right life science background (must be highlighted on resume to replace work experience)B.S. or B.A. in Biology/Chemistry or other life sciences program2+ years' experience in a Customer-Facing role within the life sciences industry.Must be familiar with standard and metric weight and volume unitsSuccessful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team-based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving.
