Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Support and assist with a broad range of surgical procedures including cardiac, neurological, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Fulfill on-call requirements as needed per facility policy
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Strong hands-on experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical specialties
• Must meet travel candidate eligibility requirements — local candidates from ineligible counties are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large academic or high-acuity medical center environment
• Familiarity with scrub and circulating roles across multiple surgical specialties
• Ability to adapt quickly to new electronic medical record (EMR) systems
