- Number of Beds: 8 + 2 Fast track beds

- About Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center - EM: Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center is a not for profit healthcare facility located in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. The hospital operates a 26 bed acute care unit and is nationally recognized for its 143 bed long term ventilator care center, the largest free standing ventilator dependent facility in the United States. Rockcastle Regional offers comprehensive services including emergency care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, oncology and infusion services, dialysis, rehabilitation therapies, pediatric services, and multiple rural health clinics. The hospital is an eleven time Kentucky Hospital Association Quality Award recipient and is accredited by The Joint Commission, reflecting its strong commitment to high quality, patient centered care.

Qualifications
- Residents: Candidates currently in training must be enrolled in an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine residency program and eligible for graduation.
- Licensure: Kentucky
- Board Certification: BC/BE EM, BE/BC IM, FM with ER Fellowship, or ER experience
- Experience: EM Residents Accepted, 2+ Yrs ER Experience for IM/FM Boarded Physicians
- Badges: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS required for non-EM boarded Physicians
