Job Summary (AI-Native Technical Architect II)
- Provide advanced architectural leadership for an assigned business area, aligning solutions with overall architecture strategies.
- Translate business and product requirements into clear, implementable technical specifications and delivery-ready solutions.
- Design and oversee the implementation of AI-enabled systems, applications, APIs, data flows, and platform components.
- Drive architecture decisions considering scalability, cost, security, reliability, maintainability, and long-term evolution.
- Establish and enforce technical standards, patterns, and guardrails for traditional and AI-native engineering teams.
- Advance AI-assisted engineering practices (e.g., code generation, automated testing, intelligent workflows) while ensuring human accountability and output quality.
- Oversee and mentor development teams, ensuring architecture is realized in code and operational outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, platform, and security teams for technical alignment and business impact.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and modern engineering practices to improve delivery and architecture efficiency.
- Operate within a regulated healthcare environment, applying or quickly building domain expertise in healthcare data, workflows, and compliance.
- Mentor and develop architects and engineers, strengthening technical judgment and modern engineering competencies.
- Represent architecture discipline internally and externally, driving best practices and technical leadership.
- Complete all responsibilities outlined in performance reviews and additional duties as assigned.
