Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to legal, regulatory, and facility standards.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, set measurable goals, oversee therapy assistants and students, document patient progress, utilize therapy software, and deliver excellent patient service. The OT participates in community health projects, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures safety and confidentiality. They also assist with patient evacuation and maintain professional relationships.

Qualifications & Skills: Must be NBCOT certified (renewal optional), licensed/licensed in the applicable state, with a preference for one year of experience—though new graduates are welcome. CPR certification is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office, good body mechanics, decision-making skills, and knowledge of post-acute care regulations are essential. Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork are vital.
