Lifesharing Provider Opportunity

I am a young adult woman looking for a caring, supportive LifeSharing provider in the Central Pennsylvania area. I'm hoping to find a family who is ready to welcome me into their home and share everyday life together.
I enjoy spending my time reading comic books, listening to music, and cookingespecially when I get to try out new recipes. I would love to be part of a family that shares some of these interests and can also offer opportunities for me to go swimming or play soccer. I truly enjoy being outdoors, whether it's relaxing on the porch with a book or simply enjoying the fresh air.
Animals are a big part of my life, and I'm hoping to find a home where I can be around them regularly. I would love the chance to work with animals and would be excited to have a dog in my new home.
Looking ahead, one of my long-term goals is to attend higher education to pursue hotel management. I'm excited to share that I'll be starting at HACC early next year to begin this journey.

- One with experience with or willingness to learn about intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism

United Cerebral Palsy of Central Pa is a not-for-profit organization providing innovative supports and services to people of diverse abilities to live a meaningful life. The organization strives to offer caring, creative, and effective services to help people of all abilities attain the most significant level of independent living.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Valid Vehicle/Homeowner/rental insurance.
- Criminal Clearances and physicals for all persons living in the home.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or Autism is preferred, but NOT required.
- Must have access to a personal printer and scanner for this role.
