Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Claim Assistant III The Claim Assistant III supports claims professionals with minimal supervision. The role includes onboarding and training new team members, supporting special projects, and serving as a backup to the supervisor when needed. This role upholds the mission, vision, and values of AmTrust and contributes to the overall success of the Claims organization. Team Specialty: EDI Support for Workers’ Compensation EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) allows efficient and accurate exchange of data, improving efficiency and accuracy. In Workers’ Compensation, EDI relays initial information and updates from claim handlers to state agencies. Our team completes filings, manages state requests, and assists with filing corrections while adhering to state regulations. *This role is hybrid – offices in Latham, NY, Dallas, TX, or Boca Raton, FL* Responsibilities Complete tasks per instructions and maintain average passing audit scores. Enter, submit, and correct filings per state requirements with adjuster assistance. Coordinate and prepare requests for standard, overnight, and certified mailings. Work across multiple platforms or systems when required. Manage communication professionally via email, phone, and Teams. Utilize Excel reports and SharePoint projects. Provide dependable backup to supervisor when needed. Receive direction from leadership and complete all work by due dates. Apply critical thinking to assess, verify, and interpret key issues. Manage own workload, follow up, and seek assistance when necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or college degree. Knowledge of claims processes and systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel). Strong attention to detail and professional written and oral communication skills. Experience training and mentoring less experienced team members. Capability to manage multiple priorities independently or within a team. Adaptability to a changing and challenging environment. Understanding of business hierarchy and downstream effects of actions. Prioritization and time management skills. The expected salary range for this role is $17.00/hr – $28.50/hr.
