We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a flexible (substitute to full-time) opportunity supporting students within Vista Unified School District in Vista, California. This role provides behavioral and academic support to K–12 students in both one-on-one and classroom settings, with ongoing needs throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and classroom-based behavioral support to K–12 students
Implement behavior intervention strategies under supervision and district guidelines
Support students in academic engagement and classroom participation
Collect and document behavioral and performance data
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavior teams to support student success
Assist in promoting positive behavior and skill development across school environments

Qualifications:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Experience working with children or students with behavioral needs preferred
Strong communication, consistency, and teamwork skills
Ability to work in both 1:1 and classroom settings Job Description:
