Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive environment that keeps customers coming back for more. We encourage ambassadors to put themselves in the customer's shoes, think about what would make their day, and provide personalized product recommendations or share expertise to create a unique and memorable experience. For our Sales Ambassadors, it’s not just about selling soap—it’s about making a positive impact on the world, one bar at a time. Responsibilities Driving Sales: Use the StoreForce dashboard to exceed sales goals and take ownership of results, actively working to grow contributions to the store’s overall sales. Customer Experience: Deliver a world‑class experience to every customer, identify their needs through attentive listening and open‑ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and seek opportunities to elevate the customer’s day. Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush values—Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging—and promote these values through store parties and community engagement. Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge, stay updated on ingredients and benefits, and confidently recommend products to meet customer needs. Team Involvement Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, assess performance, and seek feedback to improve skills and support team growth. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, actively listen to team perspectives on DEIB, promote teamwork, and recognize each employee’s unique contributions. Operational Excellence Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present; participate in teamwork, prioritize well‑being, and stay informed with company updates. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Use Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust product displays in real time based on sales. Policies and Procedures: Practice company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. Qualifications Required: Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Applicants under 18 who are selected will be employed through the Lush Youth Employment Program in accordance with local regulations. Preferred: Experience with consultation‑based customer service models Strong problem‑solving skills for day‑to‑day operations Team‑working experience Experience in skincare or cosmetics Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Pay: $15 USD - $15 USD per hour Lush participates in E‑Verify in certain U.S. states, including AL, GA, NC, SC, FL, AZ, UT, and TN, and will provide the federal government with your Form I‑9 information to confirm authorization to work in the United States.
