What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the intellectual, physical, and social needs of children.
2. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and self-expression.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress, behavior, and development.
4. Assess and address the unique needs, strengths, and areas for improvement of each child, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
5. Promote positive behavior management techniques to encourage a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
6. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, meals, progress, and development, preparing reports as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Contact information for at least two professional references.
2. First Aid and CPR certification (preferred), and the ability to pass a background search and Central Registry Search.
3. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
4. A strong understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to differentiate instruction accordingly.
5. At least six months experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting (not required for aides).

We're looking for candidates who are flexible, adaptable, and able to work well in a team environment. If you have experience with lesson planning software or other educational technology, we'd love to hear about it!
