Materials Coordinator / Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Full‑Time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

This role is responsible for the accurate storage, handling, and distribution of materials and products within the Customer Service Center. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and communicates effectively to ensure inventory accuracy and smooth material flow. This position plays a critical role in supporting customer service operations through safe, efficient, and precise material management.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, store, and distribute materials and products to support daily customer service operations
• Demonstrate exceptional organization, communication, and attention to detail in all tasks
• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect materials prior to shipment, including proper packaging and palletizing for pickup
• Perform regular and cycle inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records
• Pick and prepare materials for customer orders according to specifications, including reading and interpreting blueprints
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials between buildings as needed
• Perform outdoor work year‑round, including travel between buildings and loading/unloading materials
• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment‑handling requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple materials and priorities accurately
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment preferred (or ability to become certified)
• Ability to read blueprints or technical documents is a plus
• Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, safety‑focused, and team‑oriented

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Story City, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Story City,IA.
