About the Company

Our client is an established tire and automotive service company serving commercial fleets, trucking, transportation, construction, and other business customers. The company is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee operations and drive continued growth at its Chula Vista location.

Position Summary

The Commercial Tire Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of the location, including sales, service, inventory, customer relationships, staffing, and financial performance. This role requires a proven commercial tire leader who can manage employees, grow commercial accounts, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure a safe and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily commercial tire store operations, including sales, service, inventory, and customer service.
  
• Lead, coach, train, and develop sales, service, and technician personnel.
  
• Drive commercial tire sales and develop relationships with fleet, trucking, transportation, construction, and other commercial customers.
  
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
  
• Oversee pricing, quotes, work orders, invoicing, accounts receivable, and related administrative functions.
  
• Monitor sales, gross profit, expenses, and other key performance indicators.
  
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and inventory controls.
  
• Coordinate with technicians and service personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
  
• Address customer concerns and resolve service or operational issues.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
  
• Utilize SAP, GarageMonkey, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite for store management and reporting.
  
• Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
  
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and employee performance.
  
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to increase commercial business and store profitability.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and commercial accounts.
  

RequirementsQualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Tire Store Manager, Tire Store Manager, Service Manager, or similar leadership role .
  
• Strong knowledge of commercial tires, including truck, fleet, and heavy-duty applications.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing tire store operations, sales, service, inventory, and financial performance.
  
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
  
• Strong commercial sales and customer relationship management skills.
  
• Bilingual in English and Spanish .
  
• Proficient in SAP, GarageMonkey, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite .
  
• Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, pricing, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial tire and automotive service environment.
