Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry 4 – Full-time, Days Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104. Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Department highlights 25-bed Cardiac Telemetry Intermediate/telemetry level of care for CABG, MVR, TAVR, heart‑failure, post‑operative interventional cardiac care (Stents, Angioplasty, Cardiac Catheter) patients 815‑bed MAGNET facility Level I Trauma Center Primary Heart Attack Center (PHAC) High performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills Self‑Scheduling for work/life balance and opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Required qualifications Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS – within 90 days of hire required; expiration date greater than 3 months preferred CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Tele experience preferred Med/Surg experience considered In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment; maintain a positive, customer‑focused attitude toward patients; possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism; and have basic computer skills using medical management application systems.
