Join a team thats Changing Whats Possible The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) under MUSC Community Physicians seeks a General Surgical Pathologist for Tidelands Health in Georgetown, SC.

\n

We are seeking:

\n

\n
• MD or equivalent degree with pathology specialty training and certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
\n
• Eligible or currently possess medical licensure in South Carolina.
\n
• Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues, clinicians and researchers as well as serving as a resource to technologists at the bench.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, work ethic, and team player approach to patient care.
\n

\n

Responsibilities :

\n

\n
• Sign off on surgical pathology cases, including thoracic, gastrointestinal, general surgical pathology, non-gyn cytopathology, rapid onsite evaluation (ROSE), frozen section and intraoperative consultation and breast oncologic pathology.
\n
• Involvement in tumor boards.
\n
• Shared on-call coverage
\n
