Industrial Maintenance Technician Needed 1st Shift Nashville $28-32/hr!

The Maintenance Technician repairs, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and testing methods.
• Repair equipment and components promptly to restore proper operation and reduce disruption to production or services.
• Inspect machinery and systems regularly to identify potential problems and address them before failures occur.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to maintain accurate service records.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices while working with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex maintenance issues and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong electrical skills, including the ability to work safely with electrical systems and components.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving equipment and system issues.
• Hands-on experience performing maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on a variety of equipment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, procedures, and basic technical information related to maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety while working with tools, machinery, and electrical systems.

• Experience in general maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
