Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing comprehensive physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide in-depth intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and managing the distribution of surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication handling, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certified in BLS and ACLS , required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

Essential Skills

• Strong grasp of surgical principles alongside sterile techniques
