The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a multi-disciplined team of analysts to independently select and extrapolate intelligence and operations production data and present summaries as required. The candidate must possess the ability to follow established geospatial data production processes for content analysis, validation, cleansing, collection and reporting. Analyze and validate data content and assemble new content from various sources, including databases, files/spreadsheets, and websites. Adhere to stringent quality control guidelines. Basic Qualifications (Skill Level: Journeyman) Current Top Secret / SCI Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS or equivalent military training and experience (4 years of experience in lieu of degree). ArcGIS and Python Proficiency Two years of relevant experience in the following: Geospatial Analysis, Intelligence Community, geospatial data formats, ESRI ArcGIS10 and personal Geodatabases, intelligence fusion analysis and NGA data products and standards Preferred Additional Skills Working knowledge of other geospatial software tools (e.g., ArcSDE, GAIT, Stereo Analyst, SOCET Set, MS Office Suite, etc.) NIS Overview NIS is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business with an emphasis on Federal government opportunities in support of the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and State and local government.
