We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician who values relationship-based care, collaboration, and the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population.This is a part-time position working three 9-hour shifts per week (27 hours) and is ideal for an experienced physician who wants to continue practicing meaningful, community-based medicine on a reduced schedule.What You'll DoProvide comprehensive pediatric primary care, including well-child visits, acute care, and chronic disease managementDeliver preventive care, immunizations, and age-appropriate developmental and behavioral screeningsBuild meaningful relationships with children and their families through continuity of careCollaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to address both medical and social needsParticipate in quality improvement and population health initiatives designed to improve patient outcomesMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health recordProvide care in accordance with HRSA, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal requirementsWhat We're Looking ForMaster's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCurrent, unrestricted Florida license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)Current national board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline and specialtyMinimum of one year of post-graduate clinical practice experience, preferably in pediatrics or primary careCurrently enrolled/credentialed with Florida Medicaid, or eligible to obtain enrollmentCurrent DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain DEA registrationCurrent BLS certificationCurrent PALS certification, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe following hireCurrent prescriptive authority in accordance with Florida requirements and scope of practicePreferredExperience working in an FQHC, community health center, or underserved settingBilingual English/SpanishExperience caring for diverse and medically underserved patient populationsWhy Practice in Community Health?As an FQHC provider, your work extends beyond the exam room.
