Job Title:  Production Operator
Location:  Junction City KS 66441
Work Schedule:  Mon - Thu, from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am
Pay Rate:  USD 17.00 /hr
Contract Type: TTH

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and manual dexterity
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus
• Able to operate independently and as a team member
• Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, and instructions
• Computer skills for data input

Responsibilities:

• Follow procedures, checklists, and safety protocols
• Build boxes, clean and maintain equipment, ensure tools and supplies are available
• Operate, set up, and adjust equipment to maintain product quality
• Inspect and prepare products per SOPs
• Thread/splice material and handle packaging
• Monitor and record production and material usage manually and electronically
• Clean machinery, equipment, and work area as needed
• Communicate and cooperate with crew for quality, efficiency, and safety
• Identify and label hazardous waste for proper disposal
• Recommend and help implement improvements
• Serve on teams for quality, safety, waste reduction, and lean principles
• Participate in self-development and training
• Exhibit safety and environmental best practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned
