Electric City Dental Care | Anderson, South Carolina

Electric City Dental Care is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our energetic, goal-oriented team in Anderson, South Carolina. We are open to both experienced hygienists and new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. If you are passionate about patient care, enjoy staying busy, and thrive in a collaborative setting, we would love to meet you.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:40 AM - 12:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including dental cleanings, screenings, periodontal assessments, and patient education.
• Take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs.
• Identify and help develop treatment plans for periodontal disease and preventive care needs.
• Educate patients on oral health, home care recommendations, and treatment acceptance.
• Partner closely with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative team members to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Accurately document clinical findings and treatment provided.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, sterilization, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support a positive, productive, and patient-focused office environment.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, assisted hygiene model while maintaining quality care and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with patients and contribute to long-term patient retention.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of South Carolina or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service.
• Experience in a dental practice is preferred; however, motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of periodontal therapy, preventive dentistry, and current clinical best practices.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
