Part-Time CDL Driver

divh2Part-Time CDL Driver/h2pThis is an on-call part-time position that would entail delivery of new and used trucks between Minneapolis Minnesota, Sioux Falls South Dakota and Sioux City Iowa. Additional destinations available depending on drivers preference. If you have a clean driving record and are a licensed CDL Class A driver seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliInspect vehicles before transportation. Document and notify manager of any issues or obstacles. (must have ability to perform pre-trip inspection)/liliPosition will be On-Call within a minimum of 24-hour notification prior to requested delivery./liliManage all documentation upon delivery and drop off the vehicle./liliTrips will be based on incoming and outgoing equipment needs (no guaranteed trip per month)./liliReceive and/or collect any payment of services at the time of delivery if necessary./liliAdherent to safety procedures and precautions while driving trucks to and from destinations and locations./liliImmediately report and document any traffic incidents or accidents that may occur during the transportation of the vehicle along with any damage to the vehicle./liliAdditional tasks may be required by the supervisor or manager/liliMay require overnight travel/li/ulh3Job Qualifications:/h3ulliCDL Class A or B license required/liliClean driving record for the past 2 years, no DUI or felonies in the previous 10 years (must pass federal DOT Physical and Drug Screen) and Physical provided by I-State Truck./liliAbility to read and follow written instructions/liliAbility to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required/liliReliable attendance/liliWillingness to travel/liliLift 50 lbs. on a regular basis/li/ulpPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
