Registered Nurse - FT - Mixed - Acute Care

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare family specializing in Acute Care on our Progressive Care unit. Overview of the Progressive Care Unit Our unit is a 30‑bed unit caring for a broad spectrum of patients, including step‑down, med‑surg, and swing patients. The patients are predominantly long‑term and chronically ill, making relationship building with patients and families a key aspect of our unit. Core Responsibilities Provides leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well‑being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions. Qualifications Preferred Experience: One year hospital nursing experience. Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years of hire date (grandfathering may be accepted). RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt. Required License/Certifications: Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; BLS Healthcare Provider certification. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply—licensee should confirm with NCBON.
