Job Description
TITLE: Progressive Care Nurse - Nursing

SCHEDULE: Day Shift

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current State RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience in post heart catheterization preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide care for hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a medical/surgical unit.
- Administer advanced medical equipment and manage patients with central lines, chest tubes, and IVs.
- Deliver support across physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural dimensions to patients and families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Assess, implement, and follow established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
