CNC Machinist - Milling - 1st Shift

Position Description Precision, contract machining business is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to work in the Milling Department. Preferably experienced with HAAS machines. The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC machinery to produce precision componentswhile maintaining quality standards in a fast paced environment. Duties include: • Operate equipment to standard work practices within all quality and performance standards • Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements • Read and interpret blueprints • Follow production work orders and documents • Neatly and accurately complete all required paperwork • Maintain a safe and clean work area Qualifications: Language Skills: Abilityto read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions and proceduremanuals. ReasoningAbility: Must have the ability to solvepractical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situationswhere only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,oral, diagram or schedule form. PhysicalDemands: While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is required to walk, used handsto finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit;climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the jobinclude close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjustfocus WorkEnvironment: While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
