Vice President of Operations, Home Health About the Company Nationally recognized provider of home-based care services Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Home Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the CEO and executive team to define and execute strategic and operational plans for the home health business. This role involves driving growth in census, referrals, and profitability while ensuring strong clinical quality and regulatory compliance. The VP will also collaborate with sales and operational leaders to optimize referral and admission processes, lead and mentor field and clinical leaders, and manage various operational aspects such as reimbursement models, visit utilization, and staffing ratios. Applicants must have a Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a preference for an active compact (NLC) license, and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in a relevant field. A minimum of 10 years of progressive home health operations experience, including at least 5 years in multi-site leadership with direct P&L accountability, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PDGM reimbursement, productivity management, and labor cost optimization, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills. The role also demands a high degree of financial and analytical acumen, and the ability to travel up to 40-50%.
