Business Process Excellence Manager Position Overview: The Manager, Business Process Excellence serves as an internal consultant to business leaders across Arra Finance, identifying and acting on opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, automation, and overall business performance, with a primary focus on originations. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the role carries improvement work end to end: diagnosing the process, acting as the voice of the business with IT and development partners and vendors, and supporting the change through deployment and adoption. The position requires a blend of analytical rigor, operational curiosity, and collaborative communication to drive measurable improvement across the organization. Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered; MBA a plus 3 to 5+ years in business operations, process improvement, product ownership, business analysis, or management consulting Experience partnering with IT or development teams to define and deliver system and process changes Financial services or auto finance preferred; originations experience strongly preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights Proven ability to map processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop practical solutions Able to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, with working knowledge of agile and scrum practices including backlog refinement and business UAT Familiarity with business process management methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) preferred Comfortable evaluating and implementing automation and workflow technology solutions Strong written and verbal communication; able to present recommendations to leadership and influence across functions without direct authority Collaborative working style; effective at building relationships and influencing across functions without direct authority High degree of self-direction, intellectual curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with workflow or business intelligence tools a plus Demonstrated comfort adopting and applying AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms) to improve the quality and efficiency of analytical and operational work #J-18808-Ljbffr Obra-Capital,-Inc.
