Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography/Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts dedicated to delivering outstanding care. You will harness advanced ultrasound technology to conduct essential diagnostic procedures, work alongside a cooperative network of clinicians, and provide reassurance and clarity to patients through precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, offering detailed explanations with genuine empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurate documentation of procedures and maintenance of patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
