Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (Rn)

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will require the ability to work 12-hour day shifts, with a schedule of either 36 or 48 hours per week. Shifts typically start around 6:00 AM and conclude at 6:30 PM. The successful candidate will have a strong background in labor nursing, postpartum care, and experience in Level 2 nursery settings.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs, utilizing intermediate fetal monitoring skills.
Administer medications and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Deliver care in a Level 2 NICU environment as required.
Participate in educational opportunities and maintain certifications relevant to labor and delivery nursing.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Previous labor and delivery nursing experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in a Level 2 NICU setting is required.
