Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner

Hours per Shift: 12

Experience: Minimum of 1 year

License: RRT or CRT Certification

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have: Epic experience required

Adult Critical Care experience

Weekend coverage every other week

Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Patient populations serviced include neonates, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Candidates must have required certifications, and pediatric care will only be handled in the emergency department.

Additional skills required include extubation, intubation assist, and tracheostomy care/management.

Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation are also essential skills for this role.

Weekend coverage and a patient ratio of 1:4 are expected.

Travelers must be over 65 miles from the facility and have 2 years of experience in the specialty for submission.

References are not required for submission but will be needed for clearance to start.

Travelers must have a valid license upon submission.
