This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized banking solutions, opening accounts, originating consumer loans, identifying additional financial needs, and supporting business development efforts that contribute to Sentry Bank’s growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to a collaborative, high-performance team environment focused on exceptional customer service, relationship growth, and customer success. Delivers exceptional, personalized customer service by welcoming clients, listening carefully to their needs, providing accurate and timely assistance, and following through to ensure a positive banking experience. Drives new business acquisition through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship-building within the community and existing client base. Opens consumer and business accounts for new and existing clients in accordance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Along with necessary account maintenance. Originates consumer loans by identifying lending needs, completing applications, gathering required documentation, and assisting clients throughout the lending process in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. Recognizes commercial lending, treasury management, mortgage, and other specialized banking opportunities and connects clients with the appropriate Sentry Bank team member. Participates in community events and outreach activities to strengthen Sentry Bank’s presence, generate leads, and support business development efforts. Processes teller transactions accurately and efficiently while creating a welcoming, relationship-focused experience for every customer. Educates and assists customers with digital banking tools and technology to make banking easier while maintaining the personal service and support that distinguishes Sentry Bank. Provides support to ensure appropriate branch coverage. Works collaboratively with Sentry Bank team members to ensure seamless service and appropriate handoffs when a customer needs specialized expertise. Other duties as assigned. Travel Before Minnetonka Branch is open – will require travel to St. Joseph Branch 3 days/week for training Once Minnetonka Branch is open – occasional travel will be required for training, customer meetings, or company events. One year of banking, customer service, sales, or related experience providing high-quality customer experience required. Strong customer service, relationship-building, and business development skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional, and service-oriented approach. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:45pm. Sentry Bank, has been developing successful and long lasting relationships with our customers in the St. Joseph area since 1904.
