Principal Data Engineer

Remote MUST BE IN EST TIME ZONES

Duration: 6 months to start, with potential for extension.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in the Python ecosystem (minimum 8 years), with deep expertise in data wrangling, JSON parsing, and connecting to APIs using Python.
• Proficiency in Docker containers, testing, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong experience with Azure, including SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Client Studio.
• Experience with PowerBI.
• Proven ability to write unit-testable code.
• Ensuring proper performance and building predictive models.
• Experience in modeling on a case-by-case basis, with flexibility in tools used.
• Experience working with external APIs and mostly external data sources.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
