Shipping And Receiving ClerkBarnes Aerospace West Chester division is seeking a Shipping And Receiving Clerk. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties that support Material flow throughout the plant. If you are an individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment this position may be of interest to you.1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.Core Responsibilities:Maintains Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system with daily delivery informationShips/ receives customer gauging/tooling/fixturing,Checks, verifies and records results of required information on planning, shipping and receiving documents including dimensional checks here appropriate.Communicates significant problems and/or deviation to responsible person with corrective action for concurrence and resolution.Orders packaging materials.Package finished product and preparing shipping documents, etc. to support the flow in and out of the facility.Perform cycle counting and coordinating the annual Physical Inventory.May perform other duties as required.Process all material returns from customers and suppliers.Deliver and pick-up parts from customers and suppliers.Forklift experience required.Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods of time and working primarily standing.Qualifications:At least 5 years of computer experience in a manufacturing setting, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams and Adobe AcrobatAbility to build effective relationships with customers and suppliers.Ability to effectively communicate, build and utilize a team to solve problems and work in a team environment with empowered people making decisions and taking responsibility.Good mathematical skills and possess strong computer skills.Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.Possess high integrity and ethical standards.Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of employees, customers and vendors.Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude and be flexible in a rapid change to market conditions.Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredThis job position may include access to controlled information or technology subject to U.S. export control laws.
