The Opportunity:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of an Agile development team where
you will support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of
signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems,
related software systems, and development environments for our Navy customer.
You will be instrumental in the engineering and advanced research and
development associated with designing of products during design, development,
integration, and acceptance. Your area of work will include serving as a
technical expert for efforts related to both DevOps configuration, automation,
and deployment as well as acting as a Site Reliability Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
- Ensure environment infrastructure and configuration is managed as
Infrastructure as Code for reliability and scalability
- Implement virtual cloud deployment/test environments
- Provide promotional and continuous deployment workflows
- Utilize some or all the following Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes,
Helm, Terraform, Packer, Vagrant, or Python to build, package, deploy, and
analyze artifacts, applications, containers, and virtual machines to various
environments
- Automate software dependency management
- Implement CM best practices and strategies
- Provide multiple security enclave support
- Support cyber security scans, lockdowns, and vulnerability analysis
- Align DevOps deployment strategy with OTA updates for fielded systems
- Administer Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or portions thereof
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Mentor teammates
- Planning and executing projects or phases of projects to include customer
interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical
interchanges, and all aspects of design, development, demonstration, and
evaluation
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience
- IAT Level II certification or higher e.g. CompTIA Security+
- Willing and able to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a technical / software engineering role
- Minimum 5+ years of experience administering, developing, and/or
configuring on-premise or cloud infrastructure to support program operations
* Minimum 5+ years of experience administering and implementing development
workflows, CI/CD solutions, and security practices using DevSecOps tools
* Demonstrated experience with Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat
Linux
* Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following or similar: Git,
Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Python, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Packer,
Vagrant
Desired:
* 10+ years of experience developing on-premise or cloud infrastructure to
support program initiatives and developing/deploying processes
using DevSecOps tools
* 7+ years of experience developing Infrastructure as Code and/or Linux
Administration
* Direct experience with low-to-high security enclave software development
lifecycle

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
