Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri05:00 PM - 09:30 PMSat10:00 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site protocols and government facility requirements.
Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate important updates during shift changes to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
