- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and response to treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced cardiac monitoring per hospital protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions in a critical care environment.
- Educate patients and families on post-care instructions, treatment plans, and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association (within 90 days of hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
